Greensboro's Master Insurance Policy requires you to maintain a $25,000 deductible to be fully covered. Without this coverage, you may be liable of up to $25,000 for damages if something happens within your unit, of if you cause damages to someone else's unit. See Master Policy Info letter. It is very important that your personal property policy (HO6) covers the master policy deductible of $25,000. Please call your personal agent as soon as possible and advise them that your HO6 policy needs to include both Coverage Loss Assessment Endorsement and Coverage A (building coverage) and that they need to be at least $25,000.
OWNERS OF RENTAL UNITS: You should purchase a dwelling fire policy to cover loss assessment and building property at the amounts recommended above.
